India is so astounding that one cannot but to be amazed. The diversity of humankind’s civilisations, religions, races, and tongues is unparalleled anywhere on Earth. Every component of the nation appears on an enormous, exaggerated size, worthy only of comparison to the magnificent mountains that surround it. The only thing that could be harder than having no opinion about India is trying to perfectly express or comprehend it.
The Indian subcontinent, which touches three significant bodies of water and is easily identifiable on any map of the world, is divided from the rest of Asia by the supreme continental wall known as the Himalayas. Its sheer expanse ensures that everyone will find something to enjoy, and the plethora of mountain ranges and national parks offers enough opportunity for eco-tourism and trekking. India is the world’s second most populous country, with around 1 billion people. Despite the fact that it’s people share many profound cultural continuities, it is impossible to speak about a single Indian culture.
There are fourteen official languages in all, although English is the primary language of trade and politics. A million or more people speak twenty four of them, in addition to numerous other dialects. India includes six primary ethnic groupings, seven major religions, numerous smaller religions, and numerous holidays. Indian culture places a strong emphasis on religion, which is practiced in almost every sphere of daily life there. With nearly 80% of the population practicing it, Hinduism is the most prevalent religion in India.
Explore the modern cities that have grown from the roots of a multi-hued past, abandon yourself to culture, art, and aesthetics, make a pilgrimage to holy shrines, frolic at a long stretch of golden beaches washed by two seas and an ocean, sport with adventure in style, and let the jungle entice you to a fascinating world at a diverse array of wildlife sanctuaries and national parks.
