Here are few tips from our experts
insurance
All travellers are advised to have travel insurance that includes medical coverage.
Similarly, we advise you to confirm that the insurance covers any activities you plan to engage in while visiting Nepal, such as trekking and rafting.
Before
Trekking
If you intend to engage in high-altitude trekking or mountaineering while visiting Nepal, we advise that you enroll in physical fitness training programs. Please educate yourself about the following diseases: malaria, typhoid, tetanus, meningitis, diphtheria, giardia, dysentery, cholera, hepatitis, rabies, typhoid, dysentery, typhoid fever, and diarrhea. Frequently, knowledge and simple safety measures can save lives.
uncharted
territory
In uncharted territory, avoid barefoot travel on wet grass and dirt.
Lakes and other bodies of water should not be used for swimming, especially if the depth and vegetation are unknown.
Vaccine
Travellers to Nepal don't need to get any additional vaccines. We still advise that you speak with your doctor about getting a particular vaccine against any tropical diseases.Getting a thorough physical before leaving could be a good idea. However, we recommend getting full covid vaccines before travelling.
Food &
Water
When dining out, please ensure sure the meal is hot and fully prepared. When dining out, please make sure that salads and fruits are cleaned in distilled water or are peeled. Food that has been left out in the open for a long time should be avoided. Always choose boiling and then cooled water, treated water, or sealed water from a reputable brand to ensure that your water is pure. When traveling or leaving the city/town, always bring a bottle of water.
First Aid
Kit
When in the Terai region or during the summer, always bring and use insect repellent. Please keep a handy first-aid kit for medical emergencies at the ready.
