manaslu

Kampunge, often referred to as Mount Manaslu, is the eighth-highest mountain in the world. It is situated in Nepal’s west central region. Sanskrit’s word for manasa, “Intellect” or “soul,” is “manaslu.” The mountain rises to an elevation of 8,163 meters. Manaslu is located in the Western Development Region of Nepal in the Thoche, Dharapani, and Samagaun Village Development Committee of Manang and Gorkha Districts.

The Manaslu Trek is one of the uncommon treks, well-known for its gorgeous lowland valleys, mountain cultures, historic monasteries, and mountain passes. The less traveled route via the glaciers and ethereal valleys is both difficult and thrilling. The routes are less busy and have amazing beauty, which is one benefit of trekking in the Manaslu area.

The breathtaking draw of walking in the Manaslu region is the Larkya La Pass, one of the highest trekking passes. Similarly, the Manaslu Circuit Trek’s noteworthy highlights include the Tsum, Budi Gandaki, Nubri, and Marshyangdi valleys. The most remarkable parts of the journey will be climbing to Manaslu Base Camp, traversing high crossings along the Tibet-China border, and taking side hikes to Birendra Lake, at 3620 meters, and Kalmachum Lake, at 3800 meters. Trekkers are drawn to this area by the stunning views of the Mt. Ganesh, Mt. Sringi, and Mt. Boudha ranges, as well as Manaslu, the eighth-highest mountain in the world.
